Personally, i think these spots would be good for teamcolour:
The quarter-circle of blocks behind the side-mounted guns on the 'head'.
Leg joints, maybe?
Big rounded-off panels on top and sides.
(might do a photo edit but i gotta leave for work in a minute.)

Edit: There we go;
Cyan: Primary teamcolor suggested area.
Green: Additional/Alternate teamcolor suggested area.
